Photos sourced from the Club community help sustain a vibrant Club culture.  Please consider uploading your photos to the Club’s Smugmug gallery so that the Club can draw from them for use in social media.

If you do so, you are providing your permission to the Club to use your photos for the purposes of promoting the Club on the various platforms and forums described in this Policy.

We’ll always attempt to acknowledge the photographer on social media when we can.  You can let us know if you want to restrict the Club’s use of a photo.

The club has introduced the Smugmug system to make it easy to receive photos from people who may take photos on a regular or semi-regular basis. We don’t want to make taking photos a chore, but many people enjoy photography. If this is you, and you’d like access to the Smugmug platform, please email: news@canadabaycannons.com.au  and we’ll set you up. Alternatively, you can upload the photos directly via the following links.

In addition to social media, other places in which photos can appear are the Club’s yearbook, email newsletters and our website. Again, let us know if you would not want your photo considered for inclusion in these forums.

Remember that the photos you take and share with the Club are your property and you can ask for them to be returned at any time.  When they are returned, you acknowledge that the Club can continue to use photos it has previously used in accordance with this Policy.
